WEEK 3 PREVIEW

After the new addition to my family, I have finally gotten around to posting my first weekly preview of the season.  So without further ado.........

FIST PUMPERS (1-1) vs. TRAILER TRASH (0-2)

Series Record: Fist Pumpers 2-0

This matchup looks like a classic mismatch.  The Fist Pumpers are comprised of quick strike players who can put up a ton of points.  Trailer Trash has annual top 3 pick Chris Johnson looking to break out & surprising QB Matt Hasselbeck proving he is not over the hill.  Per the Yahoo projections Trailer Trash looks poised to pull of the upset victory this week.  But I think losing one of their top two players, Jamaal Charles, to a season ending ACL tear & trading away Vincent Jackson this week might be too much to overcome.

JERSEY WAHOOS (1-1) vs. PINEAPPLE EXPRESS (0-2)
Series Record: Jersey Wahoos 2-0
Almost chose this game as "Civil War Game" of the week, but they have only played twice.  The up & comer Jersey Wahoos came into the league last year & had a great season in their first year ever playing.  Pineapple Express is trying to turn around their season from a 0-2 start & a terrible last season.  Can the youngster make it 3 in a row in this matchup or will the "Old Buck" teach the youngster he still knows how to play?  Per the Yahoo projections, its looking like Jersey Wahoos are poised to take their 3rd in a row in the series.
Keys to Victory:  Jersey Wahoos - Cam Newton ;  Pineapple Express - Vincent Jackson 

*** POTENTIAL BLOWOUT OF THE WEEK ***
BULLDOGS (2-0) vs. COWTOWN RODEO QUEEN (1-1)
Series Record:  CowTown Rodeo Queen 1-0
Coming off a record setting 192 point performance where the league scoring record for a single game was shattered, CowTown Rodeo Queen is positioning her team to blow out every team they face each week.  Considered by many to have had one of the worst drafts, last week might not be just a fluke.  Bulldogs are looking like the first half team starting 5-0 from last year & 2-0 this year.  But they are up against a team looking like a beast coming off last week.  Will CowTown Rodeo Queen build on last week or look like last week was a fluke?  Can the Bulldogs win 3 in a row continuing their first half dominance?  Per the Yahoo projections its looking like another blowout for CowTown Rodeo Queen.

*** CIVIL WAR GAME OF THE WEEK ***
RODNROLN (1-1) vs. JUST BRING IT (1-1)
Series Record:  Just Bring It 3-0-1
Family vs. Family....Cousin vs. Cousin....Champ vs. Champ!  Reigning Champions RodnRoln against 2009 Champions Just Bring It.  Cousins from the Tayag Family Tree.  Just Bring It, over the past 3 seasons, has pretty much owned RodnRoln except for the tie back in 2008 (both their first years in the league).  Both are coming into this matchup 1-1.  Both have young stud QB's, young stud WR's, & a stud RB.  Their rosters show a pretty even matchup.  Can RodnRoln get their first win in this series & show why they are reigning champs?  Or can Just Bring It extend their dominance in this series & show they should have repeated last year but are set to win it all again this year? Who gets the family bragging rights this week?  Yahoo projections say RodnRoln pull out a close one!

*** GAME OF THE WEEK ***

TOMBRADY'S JOCKSTRAP (2-0) vs. TEAM PREMIER (1-1)

Series Record:  TomBrady's Jockstrap 3-2

Mentor vs. Mentee....Tom Brady vs. Mike Vick.  Two high scoring teams very evenly matched. TomBrady's Jockstrap was criticized for taking Tom Brady 3rd overall.  But after two weeks & a league high 104.50 points (940 yards, 7 TD's, 1 Int), it seems Brady has proved everyone wrong.  Then on the other side, you have the comeback kid.  Two years after having served a 22 month jail sentence, Vick has again established himself as a top tier player.  But unlike his first time around, he is now proving he is more than just an athletic QB who can run.  He has turned into a serious passing threat.  Two teams built around their QB's:  The NFL's Golden Boy w/ the Golden Long Locks & Super Model Wife, & the Ultimate NFL Bad Boy Criminal Trying to Change His Image & Re-Establish Himself Among the NFL's Elite.  This game is looking like it is going to be a barn burner!
