KEEPER RULES & JAMAAL CHARLES
At this years draft, we all voted unanimously to change the Keeper Rules so that NO PLAYER can be kept for more than 3 consecutive years, no matter the manager who owns him or the length of time owned. Everyone agreed to this. We also agreed to one exception: Trailer Trash & Jamaal Charles. We all agreed that Trailer Trash, having traded for Charles last year under the old rules would be aloud to have Charles as a possible keeper after this year, and would be the ONLY manager to be able to keep him. If Charles were traded or dropped this year, no other manager could keep him. The main reason for these two votes was to keep a situation from the one that is going on right now from happening. Jersey Wahoos was the team that traded Charles to Trailer Trash. If we allow Charles to be kept by anyone this year, then Jersey Wahoos would in effect be able to keep Charles 4 years in a row. Then to be fair, we will need to allow every player in their last year of being kept this season to be able to be kept for a 4th year. The exception made was more for the manager, Trailer Trash, then for the player, Charles. So as the commissioner of this league, & to make sure I maintain fairness within the rules of this League, I must enforce the above rules & not allow Charles to be kept after this season by anyone other than Trailer Trash.
